GEEARS 2025 EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION BUS TOUR CONCLUDES WITH VISIT TO EASTERSEALS NORTH GEORGIA’S GWINNETT CENTER
Easterseals North Georgia (ESNG), a community-based nonprofit that provides high-quality services to children with disabilities and families, proudly hosted the final stop of the 2025 GEEARS Early Childhood Education Bus Tour, an annual two-day event intended to expose constituents to innovative early childhood education interventions throughout the state of Georgia. This year’s tour, funded by the Georgia Health Initiative, focused on advancing support for young children with disabilities and their families across the state of Georgia.
The visit to ESNG’s Gwinnett Early Childhood Development Center offered attendees an in-depth look at the organization’s integrated services. Guests toured the facility and participated in a panel discussion featuring ESNG staff, program participants, and community leaders. The panel shared data-driven progress and personal stories, showcasing how Easterseals North Georgia addresses critical needs such as diagnosing autism at earlier ages and ensuring children with disabilities are welcomed into high-quality preschool classrooms.
“Our mission is to create pathways for every child, regardless of ability, to thrive in school and life,” said President and CEO Donna Davidson at Easterseals North Georgia. “It was an honor to share with GEEARS and our distinguished guests the tangible impact of our work and the resilience of the children and families we serve.”
The event also celebrated the transformative power of collaboration, with heartfelt stories from families whose lives have been changed by the comprehensive support offered through Head Start and ESNG programs.
Easterseals North Georgia extends its deepest gratitude to Mindy Binderman, the GEEARS team, State Representative Marvin Lim, and all the community members who joined the tour. Together, we continue to champion the importance of early childhood education and equitable access to resources for Georgia’s youngest learners.
