Program Purpose & Overview
Easterseals North Georgia’s Impact Society is a leadership and fundraising cohort designed to develop the next generation of leaders providing them with knowledge, tools, and connections necessary for professional and philanthropic success.
 
        
        
      
    
    Develop self-awareness and leadership capacity
Increase knowledge of both community challenges and ESNG’s programs
Strengthen fundraising and philanthropic skills
Build a community of supporters and brand ambassadors inspired to make a difference
Raise funds for Easterseals North Georgia
Impact Society Program Objectives
Program Structure & Requirements
Duration: 6 months, March – November
Participants: 25 young professionals selected through application process
Key Elements
· Orientation & Leadership Kickoff
· Monthly workshops (topics: fundraising, leadership, board governance)
· ESNG site visits
· Peer learning & team projects
· Graduation Celebration
Requirements
- Attend all scheduled meetings, workshops and events 
- Lead a personal fundraising campaign (minimum goal: $5,000) 
- Participate in team activities and nonprofit tours 
- Demonstrate commitment to personal and professional growth 
Eligibility Criteria
- Professionals (recommended age 25–45) 
- Demonstrated leadership or high potential 
- Commitment to community impact with special interest in Children Services 
- Employer support (if participation occurs during business hours) 
- Not currently employed by Easterseals North Georgia 
Fundraising Commitment
- Each participant commits to a personal fundraising campaign 
- Goal: Raise a minimum of $5,000 for ESNG’s mission 
- Campaign support and training provided by staff and coaches 
- Fundraising may include peer-to-peer efforts, events, sponsorships, etc. 
Participants who fulfill program and fundraising commitments will:
- Be recognized at a formal graduation ceremony at the Impact and Insights Luncheon 
- Be featured on our website and social media 
- Join the Impact Society Alumnae Network 
- Be eligible to serve on the selection committee for future applicants 
Completion & Recognition
- Program Director: Oversees curriculum and execution 
- Facilitators/Trainers: Experts in leadership, philanthropy, etc. 
- Advisory Council (optional): Program alumnae or board members providing strategic input 
- Selection Committee: Reviews applications and nominations
