Fill our Little Libraries and
Change a Child’s Story
McCormick Spice and Easterseals are partnering to champion child literacy by building Little Libraries outside each Easterseals North Georgia center location.
How can you be a champion, too? Glad you asked!
Easterseals and McCormick Spice are working to close the literacy gap and ensure that the children in the community have access to developmentally appropriate books, but we need your help. We are hosting a book drive now through December 31st. Local businesses, organizations, and individuals can help Easterseals fill these little libraries and stock the centers' classrooms by donating new and gently used children’s books ranging in level from Please donate books for infant & toddler - 1st grade, of varying topics and genres.
Donations can be dropped off at any of our 12 different development center locations across metro Atlanta, Gwinnett County, and Northeast Georgia as well as our corporate office. In celebration of Easterseals’ 100 Year Anniversary, our goal is to collect at least 100 books per center location.
What are Little Libraries?
Little Libraries are community book-sharing boxes that serve as a catalyst for improving reading motivation and deepening community connectedness. These books are available to students in our early childhood development centers as well as the local community.

What if I can’t drop off my donation?
Can I just make a donation online?
You sure can!
We realize that you are busy or may want to help but are physically unable to drop off a donation. Donating funds online is easy, safe, and secure. Your tax-deductible donation will be used by our team to purchase a book or books on your behalf. You have the ability to make a single donation or set up a recurring donation. Every donation is appreciated, and every dollar counts.
