Help Easterseals North Georgia Create Solutions and Change Lives

Volunteers are critical to the success of Easterseals North Georgia. You can provide support to our teachers and staff and a warm smiling face for our children and families. Volunteers can be professionals and non-professional, parents, local residents, community organizations, private businesses, senior citizens and college students.

You can volunteer as an individual or as a group. We are grateful to the many companies that lend their teams and staff to help us. We always send you photos to remember your day with us and to share with the rest of your company.  Please take a look at a few of our volunteer slide shows below.

Volunteer Opportunities: Assisting with classroom activities, such as

  • Read
  • Play
  • Assist in the kitchen
  • Host a craft work shop activity
  • Present parent education classes (i.e. financial literacy, job training, parenting training)
  • Clerical
  • Classroom helpers
  • Help with our events
  • Host a toy drive for the holidays
  • Host a supply drive (i.e. diapers, wipes, books, socks and other necessities)
  • Assist with community awareness at events by setting up table and handing out information

If you are an individual and would like to volunteer consistently with us, we have a few steps:

  1. Read and acknowledge Volunteer Handbook
  2. Clear Criminal Background Check
  3. View Mandated Reporter Training
  4. Select location, create schedule
